Always desired purposeful dialogue with India to resolve pending problems, claims Pak

Pakistan says, it always desired purposeful dialogue with India to resolve outstanding problems, including the Kashmir problem. Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said today that Islamabad is trying to find a durable resolution of issues as well as cover the damage done to foreign policy during the previous regime. He was briefing the National Assembly or lower house of parliament about the government's policy on Kashmir Policy. He said, the Prime Ministers of Pakistan and India had agreed during their meeting at Sharm el-Sheikh in Egypt last year that dialogue is the only way forward. Mr Quereshi said, both India and Pakistan had acted maturely and did not stop confidence-building measures including the ceasefire along the Line of Control, uninterrupted cross-border bus services and cross-LoC trade.
