Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu has asked Congress to allow Parliament to function. He told reporters outside Parliament that there is no point in stalling the proceedings of both the Houses when many key bills are pending.<br/><br/>The Minister said the passage of the Goods and Services Tax bill is essential for the economic development of the country but because of the Congress' opposition, it is getting delayed. Mr Nadu said, everyone has the right to criticize the government but work in Parliament should not be hampered. He alleged by making hue and cry in Parliament, the Congress is ignoring the poor and farmers of the country.
