The Uttar Pradesh Government today ordered a high level inquiry into allegations by an executive engineer in Etawah district against a ruling BSP legislator of threatening him with dire consequences. <br/><br/>The concerned executive engineer of Irrigation Department has sent his resignation letter to the Chief Minister Mayawati, and secretary to his department.<br/><br/>AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that Principal Secretary Irrigation Mr. K S Atoria has been asked to conduct enquiry on the letters sent by the said engineer and submit his report as soon as possible for further action.
