The Allahabad High Court has extended the stay on arrest of Amar Singh up to 20th September and fixed the same date for next hearing. The court had already given stay on arrest of Amar Singh in connection with a FIR filed against him at Kanpur alleging that he was involved in financial irregularity. An FIR was lodged in Babupurwa police station in Kanpur in October last year against him.
