The Lucknow Bench of Allahabad high Court rejected the revision petition of Central Bureau of Investigation, CBI, against the order of a local CBI court of Lucknow which had refused to initiate trial against 8 accused in Ayodhya disputed structure demolition case No- 19/92. <br/><br/>The said accused including senior BJP leader LK Advani, MM Joshi and VHP leader Ashok Singhal are already being tried in Rae Bareli CBI court. <br/><br/>Justice Alok Kumar Singh rejected the CBI plea against the Lucknow CBI court order of May 4, 2001 on the case of the Ayodhya demolition incident. <br/><br/>A total of 21 people were charged by the CBI in the case of which eight were the same against whom another case No-198/92 was lodged and the trial is being held at Rae Bareli court. <br/><br/>Three accused have already expired. The local CBI court had earlier refused to initiate the trial saying that the charge sheet filed by the CBI was faulty as 8 people have been accused in the case No-19/92 and 198/92. <br/><br/>The CBI had said in its revision petition that charge sheet should be filed separately against both the cases lodged in connection with demolition. It is not important that some people are accused in both the cases.<br/>
