The Allahabad High court has rejected the petition filed by Kanpur based Shivakant Tripathi who has approached high court with a plea where he requested court to intervene in the case to ensure impartial investigations related to his FIR against SP leader Amar Singh.

A division bench Comprising Justice Sunil Ambavani and Justice Virendra Singh said that the then case had been lodged very recently on 15th October and it seems no reason to intervene at this very early stage of probe. The court said that they could not understand the motive of petitioner who filed a FIR just a week ago and moved to court. The court observed this petition is premature and hence its rejected Shivakant Triptahi alleged in his FIR against SP leader Amar Singh and his wife are converting black money into white through companies allegedly run by Amar Singh and his wife.
The SP leader Amar Singh had alleged that Shivakant was working on the behest of Bahujan Samaj Party and he was in regular touch with CMs secretariat.
