The Allahabad High Court today set aside the selection list of UP Subordinate Agriculture Service Technical Assistant group C post, which was conducted by Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC). <br/><br/>However, the court upheld the result of the written examination of the said test but made it clear that the subsequent selection proceess after written examination is vitiated. The result was declared in May 2015 and more than six thousand candidates were declared successful for the post. <br/><br/>Giving these directives, a Division Bench comprising Justice Vimlesh Kumar Shukla and Justice M C Tripathi directed the state government and Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission to conduct all the further selections on the basis of existing strength of cadre. <br/><br/>The Petitioner- Manish Upadhya and others had assailed the validity of the selection proceess of said examination conducted by UPPSC for increasing the post of other backward caste category from 566 to 2030 and decreasing the post for general candidates.
