The Allahabad High Court has issued show cause notices to two TV channels for violating the instructions of the Election Commission. A Bench comprising Justice Amar Saran and Justice Ramesh Sinha has issued show cause notices to the channels on a PIL alleging that they had telecast exit polls in their programmes. The next hearing will take place on the 29th of this month.
