The Allahabad High Court today granted bail to the controversial ruling Samajwadi Party MLA Vijay Mishra in the case of bomb attack on the then State Government Minister, Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, on July 12 2010. The court has said that he will be released on a personnel bond of high surety with the satisfaction of trial court. The court has directed him for depositing his passport to the court and not leaving the country without prior permission of the court. The High Court has also directed that Mishra will not interfere into trial of the case.He was arrested on February 2011 from New Delhi. Uttar Pradesh Government had announced a reward of 2 lakhs 50 thousand rupees on his head. Former Minister Mr. Nandi was attacked at his residence at Allahabad in which he seriously injured and two persons including a journalist were killed. Vijay Mishra represents Gyanpur constituency from Sant Ravidas Nagar district to the State Assembly.
