The Srilankan Army claims to have resettled all the war displaced Tamil civilians in the Eastern Province . Sources said that more than 9500 Internally Displaced Persons belonging to 3217 families have been resettled in Trincomalee , Ampara and Batticaloa over the past couple of months.According to Major General Srinath Rajapaksa, Commander, Security Forces, East, these displaced civilians have been provided with supply of building materials, funds for reconstructions, stocks of dry rations, cooking utensils and transport facilities.
