All villages in Bihar to be electrified till 2014

In Bihar, all the villages are planned to be electrified till 2014. Central government has released Rupees 4 thousand crore for total electrification 11 districts of the state through Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidutikaran Yojana. AIR correspondent reports, within two years not only town areas but also all villages will be electrified. According to sources, all villages of 11 districts Araria, Banka, Bhojpur, Gaya, Kishanganj, Nalanda, Nawada, Patna, Purnia, Rohtas and Siwan have allotted Rupees 4 thousand crore from central sponsored scheme RGVY and remaining districts are in process.In the State, all the electrification work will be completed in 12th five year plan till 2014. The aim of Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yogna in the every houses of villages will be electrified and below poverty line families to be given free electric connection. In the state the advantage of this plan is visible in every village. In remote areas before some decade where there is no reach ofelectrification their Transformer and Electric Pole are visible and people are hoping eagerly their houses will be in lightened.
