Home Minister P Chidambaram who is in Ladakh for two-day visit of border areas of Jammu and Kashmir has met with leaders of various political parties and has assured them that all the sections of people of the state would be consulted to find solution to the Kashmir issue. AIR Leh Correspondent reports that Home Minister is leaving for Kargil district where he will meet with people of this border district:”In the review meeting of progress of the rehabilitation of the flood affected people, Home Minister Mr P Chidambaram has assured to provide financial assistance of rupees sixteen core and fifty lakh for reclimination of damaged agricultural lands. The leaders of political parties have welcomed the appointment of three-members interlocutors for Kashmir issue and task force for finding need of developmental infrastructure for Ladakh and Jammu region of the state. The leaders also expressed hope the interlocutors will visit Ladakh to find Ladakhi political aspiration.’
