In Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has said that all alleged scams reported during tenure of the previous Bahujan Samaj Party government are being probed and if former Chief Minister Mayawati is found guilty, legal action would be initiated against her. Talking to media persons at Mainpuri Mr. Yadav said that inquiries have been initiated in all scams. On the alleged 50 crore rupees seed scam during the BSP regime, he said that it would be probed and those found guilty will not be spared. In this case FIR has been lodged against four officers of the State Seed Corporation. On the issue of bringing Chief Minister under the Lokpal ambit, Mr. Yadav has said that a meaningful debate and interaction with all parties was required before arriving on a conclusion.
