All-rounder Washington Sundar has been ruled out of the T-20I cricket series against West Indies in Kolkata due to injury. In a statement, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said Kuldeep Yadav has been named as Washington's replacement.

Sundar suffered a left hamstring muscle strain during fielding in the third ODI against the West Indies in Ahmedabad. The upcoming T20I series is scheduled to take place at Eden Gardens in Kolkata and is set to start tomorrow.

Earlier, Rohit Sharma led-Indian team had a clean sweep against West Indies winning 3-0 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
