<span style="color: #222222;">All preparations have been made for the smooth conduct of bye-election in 5 assembly seats in Assam tomorrow. The election machinery has completed all arrangements for conduct of the  bye-election in a free, fair and safe manner. A total of 31 candidates are in the fray. Nearly 8 lakh voters could exercise their voting rights. Webcasting will be done in all the 1,176 polling stations. Out of these, 285 are in Gossaigaon, 213 at Bhabanipur, 322 at Tamulpur, 183 at Mariani and 173 at Thowra constituencies. Polling will begin at 7 am and come to an end at 5 pm. All COVID 19 related norms to be followed. The ruling BJP and its ally UPPL, opposition Congress, AIUDF, BPF and Independent candidates are in the fray.</span>
