All preparation made for Mamata’s swearing-in ceremony

All preparation have been made for the swearing-in ceremony of the New Government in West Bengal headed by the Trinamul Congress Chief Miss Mamata Banerjee. She will take oath of office as the First Women Chief Minister of the State at 13.01 hours tomorrow. Congress President Sonia Gandhi will not be attending the swearing-in of Miss Mamata Banerjee. AICC general secretary Janardan Dwivedi said instead; Home Minister P Chidambaram will represent the Congress at the function along with Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee. The Governor Mr. M. K. Narayanan and the Kolkata Police Commissioner Mr. Ranjit Kumar Panchnanda took stock of the preparations of the swearing-in ceremony. The Former Chief Minister Mr. Buddhadev Bhattacharjee, the Left Front Chairman Mr. Biman Bose, leaders of different political parties, industrialists, high officials of the Defence Services and Police have been invited to the function. To giant screens are also being installed at different places in Kolkata for the common mass to witness the ceremony.
