Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said all possible support is being provided to Assam for overcoming the flood situation prevailing in parts of the state. In a series of tweets, Prime Minister's Office said Mr Modi spoke to Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal today as well as yesterday regarding the flood situation in the state. <br/><br/>The Prime Minister said the Central Government has been closely and constantly monitoring the situation ever since Assam has witnessed flooding. Mr Modi also assured all support to Bihar government to mitigate the flood situation. He said his thoughts are with all those affected by floods. He spoke to Bihar Chief Minister regarding the matter and said that the situation is being monitored closely.
