Congress today welcomed the decision of nominating Cricket star Sachin Tendulkar as a member in the Rajya Sabha. Talking to reporters outside Parliament, party leader Satyavrat Chaturvedi said, it is a great moment for the country.The BJP spokesperson Rajiv Pratap Rudy said,it is a historic moment for the country and the party welcomes the decision.Trinamool Congress leader Dinesh Trivedi also welcomed the decision for nominating Tendulkar as a Rajya Sabha Member. He said that his place is beyond party and politics.The BSP Supremo Ms. Mayawati while reacting on the issue of nominating Mr.Tendulkar and cine Actress Rekha in the Upper House, said they should also focus on their own fields.
