An all party meeting to discuss the proposed Singur Bill which aims to return 400 acres of land to the unwilling farmers was held in Kolkata today. The four hundred acres of land in Singur where the erstwhile Left Goverment had acquired one thousand acres land for the Tata's Nano project. The Bill is likely to come up tomorrow for discussion in the Assembly. The 280 – page Bill has more or less been accepted by all the parties but the Left had objections to certain technical aspects of the hand-over of the land to the unwilling farmers.
