All party meeting in Srinagar on Monday; PDP to abstain

Jammu and Kashmeer government has convened an All Party Meeting in Srinagar tomorrow to discuss the situation. The invitation has been extended to all 12 recognised political parties and groups for the meeting. They include National Conference, Congress, PDP, BJP, Panthers Party, CPI-M, CPI, Peoples Democratic Forum and Democratic Party (Nationalist).<br/> <br/>PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti today stuck to her decision to stay away from tomorrow's all-party meeting despite the Prime Minister urging her to reconsider her stand.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah received a shot in the arm today with legislators of the National Conference and the Congress rallying behind him appreciating the steps taken by the government in restoring peace in the valley. <br/><br/>They expressed full faith and confidence in his leadership At a specially called meeting of legislators belonging to ruling coalition in Srinagar, it was decided that Government will put in place an appropriate mechanism to address the grievances and problems of the people in a more vibrant, systematic, regular and time-bound manner.
