The all-party meeting convened by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kamal Nath to resolve the deadlock over the FDI issue has begun a short while ago.

Leaders of the Opposition in the two Houses, Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley of the BJP, CPM leader Sitaram Yechury, Derek O'Brien of Trinamool Congress, BSP leader Ms. Mayawati, Lalu Prasad of RJD, Sharad Yadav of JDU are among those attending the meeting.

Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde, Finance Minister P. Chidambaram and Commerce Minister Anand Sharma are representing the government side.

T.R. Baalu of DMK and Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar of NCP are also present in the meeting.
