The all-party meeting on the proposed Criminal Law Amendment Bill on strengthening anti-rape laws has ended with a broad consensus. Trinamool Congress leader Kalyan Banerjee said there were sharp differences over the proposal to reduce the age of consent from 18 to 16 years. He said the Government has agreed to review its decision.
