All newly elected legislators in Bihar undergo Covid-19 test for 5 day winter session commencing from tomorrow

<span style="color: #222222;">In Bihar, Covid-19 test is being done on all newly elected legislators in view of the five-day winter session commencing from tomorrow. Eight MLCs took the test today before taking their oath. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR Correspondent reports Assembly Secretary R K Singh said additional arrangements have been made as a precautionary measure against the Coronavirus pandemic. Arrangements have also been made for conducting Covid-19 tests on the staff of the assembly and legislative council secretariats.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, COVID-19 recovery rate has improved to 97.22 per cent in Bihar. This is more than the national average. The number of active cases in the State is continuously declining. Currently, 5,189 patients are undergoing treatment at various hospitals. A total of 606 patients were recovered during the last 24 hours while 385 positive cases were reported. Maximum positive cases of 1,573 were reported from Patna followed by 266 from Muzaffarpur and 202 from Bhagalpur. Over 2,23,615 patients have so far recovered from the infection in the State.</span>
