In Haryana, with less than a fortnight left for polling senior leaders of all major political parties is holding rallies to seek votes for their party candidates.
Bhartiya Janta Party's Prime Ministerial candidate, Narendera Modi will be addressing a rally in Gohana today and seek votes for Sonepat Parliamentary constituency candidate Ramesh Kaushik along with Karnal and Rohtak candidates, Ashwani Kumar and O P Dhankar. Following intelligence bureau's security alerts, special three-tier security arrangements have been made for Narendera Modi's rally in Sonepat. Around 2000 personnel of Haryana and Gujrat Police and special protection group will be deployed at the rally. BJP's National President, Rajnath Singh will be addressing a rally on April 4, while senior leader Sushma Swaraj will be in the State on April 5.
Aam Adami Party Chief, Arvind Kejriwal kick started his election campaign in the state Friday. He will be covering different constituencies during his three-day road show.
Congress has planned a rally on Monday with Party President Sonia Gandhi as its key campaigner. Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi would also hold his first rally in the State on April 6.
Other regional parties like Indian National Lok Dal and Haryana Janhit Congress are also campaigning in full swing in the State.
