All major Asian markets slumped today. Shanghai Composite Index was the top loser as it plunged 4 point 19 per cent. Hong Kong's Hang Seng fell 3 point 20 percent. Tokyo's Nikkei 225 was down 2.38 per cent. Seoul's Kospi lost 1.86 per cent and Singapore's Straits Times declined 1.14 per cent.Major European markets were also down in intra-day trade. London's FTSE-100 lost 0.48 and France's CAC-40 declined 0.51 per cent while Germany's DAX fell 0.43 per cent when reports last came in.
