On the occasion of International Women's Day, an All India Women's Folk Art Conference will be organised at Ravindra Natya Mandir in Prabhadevi in Mumbai on the 8th of March 2023 in association with Sangeet Natak Akademi, Government of India and P. L. Deshpande Maharashtra Kala Academy, Government of Maharashtra.<br />” <br />” Like the G20, India is leading the W20 group and Dr. Sandhya Purecha, Chairman of Sangeet Natak Akademi is the president of the W20 Women's Group.<br />” <br />” Women from several States of India will present popular folk art in this convention. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde will be inaugurating the All India Women's Folk Art Conference.<br />” <br />”Two seminars on ‘Contribution of Indian Saint Poetess’ and ‘Folk Art on Silver Screen’ will be organised during the event. The programme will be open for all and will be organised from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm on the 8th of March, 2023.
