The 15th All India Whips Conference will be held at Chandigarh on February 10 and 11. Punjab Parliamentary Affairs Minister Tikshan Sud disclosed this while presiding over a preliminary meeting which was especially convened to work out the modalities of holding the conference at Chandigarh. <br/><br/>Concerned officers of the state and the representatives of the Central Government participated in this meeting. The Minister said that Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal responded generously to the communiqu’ by Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Pawan Kumar Bansal proposing to hold the conference at Chandigarh. Around 180 to 200 delegates are expected to attend the conference .Officials from the Union Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs and all the states will also participate in this conference.<br/><br/>Minister said that Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister and concerned ministers of all the states, chief whips and whips of all the major political parties of both the houses of Parliament, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha and State Assemblies would attend the conference.
