Prasar Bharati CEO Shashi Sekhar Vempati said, All India Radio has been playing a critical role in preserving the culture and heritage of the country. <br/><br/>During his maiden visit to All India Radio, Hyderabad, the CEO exhorted the AIR employees to preserve the rare collections pertaining to music of yesteryears. He asked them to take care of the archives of the station for future generations. <br/><br/>Mr Vempati said, he grew up while listening to the AIR, Hyderabad station programs and particularly recalled the music and news being broadcast in the morning hours. <br/><br/>While interacting with the employees, the CEO said, promotional avenues of Program Executives of AIR were delayed due to court cases. <br/><br/>Speaking on AIR news, the CEO said, proposals to give all news bulletins on FM Mode and FM News round the clock were under consideration.<br/><br/>Deputy Director General (Engineering) Narendra Kumari, Program Head Uday Shankar and other staff members were present.
