All India Radio has bagged the UNICEF'S prestigious global 2011 International Children's Day of Broadcasting Award .The award was announced by UNICEF in New York on last Tuesday.

The programme in Hindi Joy-Live was broadcast from AIR Gorakhpur on the occasion of 2011 International Children's Day. This was produced by Meenu Khare.

The International Children Day of Broadcasting initiated by UNICEF is the day set a sight each year to celebrate children’s broadcasting and encourage young people to get involved in television and radio broadcasting.
