All India Radio and Aligarh Muslim University today signed a Memorandum of Understanding to cooperate in different areas of programme production. <br/><br/>The MoU was signed by the Deputy Director General of All India Radio and Registrar of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) at Aligarh. As part of the MoU, Aligarh Muslim University will be allocated a one hour broadcast slot on the Urdu service, programmes for which will be produced by the students of the Mass Communication department of the University. <br/><br/>Giving details of the MoU, Director External Services Division of the AIR said, the MoU is part of the overall exercise of External Services to revamp its technology and content. <br/><br/>This MoU will help in renewing the contact between AIR and AMU which had become defunct for a while. It also aims at cooperation and coordination between the two organisation to ensure that AIR in general and External Services Division in particular can use the vast resource and talent pool available in AMU.
