The 30th All India Police Equestrian meet was inaugurated today at the Sardar Vallabhai Patel National Police Academy in Hyderabad by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy.A total of 211 horses and 209 sportspersons are participating in the equestrian event ranging from dressage, show jumping, tenth pacing and others events over a period of eight days.Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Reddy said the sport could not be isolated from the police forces and it helped the police personal in maintaining physically fitness and mentally agility, for overall personality development.
