All India Jat Arakshan Sangarsh Samiti withdraws its Quota Agitation; Claims, Haryana govt. accepted all its demands

All India Jat Arakshan Sangarsh Samiti (AIJASS) has withdrawn its second phase of Jat Quota Agitation which began earlier this month in Haryana. <br/><br/>The AIJASS President Yashpal Malik told AIR that the protest was called off today after State government accepted all their demands. <br/><br/>He said they have given Haryana government time till August 31 to resolve all the issues related to the agitation. The AIJASS representative met Haryana government officials yesterday evening where the state government agreed on the 10 point charter of demands. <br/> <br/>Meanwhile, Director General of Police KP Singh said that they will be able to decide on withdrawing the para military forces from the state only after watching the situation for two-three days. About 55 companies of para-military force have been deployed in the State in the wake of the Jat agitation.<br/><br/>Air Correspondent's report:- "Resultant to the talks held between Jat leaders and Haryana Government the fourteen day Jat stir have concluded today.<br/><br/>Haryana Government has agreed to resolve the Jat issues by 31 st August. Jat leader Yashpal Malik said that if government does not fulfil their demands within stipulated time than further course of action will be decided in the rally to be held in September. <br/><br/>Despite peaceful protest, DGP Haryana has said that para military forces will only be withdrawn from the State after assessing the situation for next two to three days."
