Apart from Congress interim President Sonia Gandhi, many senior leaders of the party including Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury participated in this rally. Addressing the gathering, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said, the rally is on the issue of inflation and unemployment. He claimed that inflation and unemployment have increased in the country in the recent past. Addressing the rally, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said, his government gave relief to every section of the society during the Covid pandemic.<br />''<br />''Reacting to the Congress rally, Union Minister for Jal Shakti,  Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said, before the assembly elections in Rajasthan, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had promised a loan waiver to farmers within 10 days of coming to power. Mr Shekhawat said, the farmers in Rajasthan are still waiting for the Congress government in the State to fulfill their leader's promise. Interacting with the media persons in Jaipur this morning, the Union Minister said, the Central government reduced the excise duty on petrol and diesel and gave relief to the general public. While the Rajasthan government gave very less respite in VAT on fuels. Mr Shekhawat said, this is the reason, prices of Petrol and Diesel are very high in the state compared to other parts of the country. </span><br />
