In Goa, an all party meeting held under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister Mr. Digambar Kamat today resolved to request the Union Water Resources ministry to see that Karnataka stops the ongoing works on Mhadei dams.<br/><br/>Briefing reporters after the meeting the Chief Minister said Centre has taken a decision to appoint a tribunal and refer Mhadei water dispute to the tribunal He said the centre has filed an affidavit in the supreme court on decision taken by it on the mhadei water dispute.<br/><br/>Mr. Kamat said the process of setting up of the tribunal has begun.He said the Union Water Resources Minister Mr. Pawan Bansal has written to him to attend a meeting in this connection in Delhi on the 6th of this month.
