All COVID guidelines issued by Union health ministry will be applicable for international passengers entering state: Maharashtra govt

Maharashtra Government has announced that all the guidelines issued by Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare will be applicable for all international passengers entering in the state. A statement has been issued by the State Government stating that the orders issued from time to time by the Central Government will come into effect from today.<br />''<br />''The State Government has issued a statement saying that if a person traveling internationally has completed even both doses of the vaccine, as per the Central Government rules, it is mandatory for the person to undergo a RT-PCR test.<br />''<br />''Chief Secretary Sitaram Kunte issued an order in this regard yesterday. Earlier, persons vaccinated with both the doses of COVID-19 vaccine were not required to submit a negative RT-PCR report while entering in Maharashtra. Relaxations were given to both domestic and international passengers.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #000000;">While for those passengers who have not received any dose of vaccine or got the first dose, they were required to produce a negative RT-PCR report not older than 72 hours.</span><br />
