All arrangements are being put in place for the sixth and final phase of Assembly elections in West Bengal. 14 constituencies in Maoist infested Jungle Mahal area spread over the remaining parts of Purulia, Bankura and West Midnapore districts will go to polls in this phase tomorrow. A total 97 candidates are in the fray. Voting will take place between 7 am and 3 pm. Elaborate security arrangements have been made to ensure free and fair polls. Chief Electoral Officer of the State Sunil Gupta said that inter-state borders along Jharkhand and Orissa have been sealed to prevent the entry of unwanted persons during voting. Three helicopters have been kept ready for air surveillance in three districts. Repolling is on at one polling booth at Khandoposh in Burdwan district. The Election Commission ordered re-polling at in this booth due to technical snag in EVM where voting was held on last Saturday.
