In Uttar Pradesh, the Aligarh Muslim University Teachers' Association has begun an indefinite hunger strike, seeking removal of Vice Chancellor of the University, P K Abdul Aziz and the University Proctor, Mujahid Beg. They are also demanding hostel facilities for all the students who have started reaching the campus following the announcement of the phased reopening of the University.
