US-based monitoring group SITE says that Al-Qaeda's front-group in Iraq claimed responsibility for the twin suicide bombings in Iraq on 25th of this month. The self-proclaimed Islamic State of Iraq group in an online statement said the attacks were within its campaign against 'the Invasion of the Captive. Iraqi Defence ministry spokesman Major General Mohammed al-Askari had said that the evidence found confirmed the bombers were linked to Al-Qaeda.
