In Uttar Pradesh, leader of Samajwadi Legislative party Akhilesh Yadav will take oath today as the next Chief Minister of the state.

He will be the youngest and 33rd chief Minister of the state and it will be fourth tenure of the Samajwadi Party.

Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav has served as Chief Minister of the state three times.

AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that the swearing-in ceremony will be taking place at La Martiniere school grounds and arrangements have been made for the function. Governor B L Joshi would administer oath to Akhilesh Yadav and his council of ministers.

Senior leaders from different political parties are expected to attend the function.

Besides the political leaders, industrialists and several film actors would also participate in the function.
