Indian pugilist Akhil Kumar crashed out following a stunning loss in the quarterfinals of the Commonwealth Boxing Championships in New Delhi yesterday.Akhil went down 6-12 to Iain Weaver of Britain in the 56 kg category. However, Jai Bhagwan and Amandeep Singh assured themselves of at least a bronze at the championship. Amandeep beat Tanzania's Rajabu O Mbwana 9-1, while Jai Bhagwan defeated Scot Josh Taylor 7-1.But the day brought in another disappointment when Manpreet Singh lost to Scot Stephen Simmons in the plus 91kg category.
