The Director General, Akashvani, is organising a one-day 56th Annual Akashvani Sangeet Sammelan-2010 at K.L. Sehgal Memorial Hall, at Jalandhar in Punjab this evening. Renowned classical artists, including vocalist Mohan Kumar Darekar of Gwalior Gharana, who is an artist of AIR, Pune and Clarionet Player, Ramkrishana of Banaras Gharana and an artist of AIR, Jaipur would perform on the occasion. Jalandhar is among 26 such stations of All India Radio acrossthe country where this sammelan will be held.
