<span style="color: #222222;">Bihar police today recovered an AK-47 rifle, live cartridges and other suspicious things from the residence of Independent MLA Anant Singh during raid. Singh represents Mokama in the legislative assembly. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The raid was carried out at his paternal home at Ladma village under Barh police station of Patna district. SDPO Lipi Singh told AIR that the fully – loaded assault rifle was wrapped in three layers including one thick layer of carbon papers so that the weapon could not be detected by metal detectors. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">She said arms and ammunition were kept under sweet packets inside a small room in the house. The SDPO said, the house of MLA was unlocked in the presence of a Magistrate with proper videography. Anant Singh, however, claimed that he was being hounded because he contested elections against JD(U) leader Lalan Singh.</span>
