800th Annual Urs of Sufi Saint Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chishti has started in Ajmer. During the 6 day long Urs more than 5 lakh Jaireen will visit the holy Dargah. A 465 member Pakistani delegation has also reached Ajmer by a special train from Delhi. The Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Union Minister Mukul Wasnik offered a Chadar on Mazar of Sufi Saint on behalf of UPA Chair Person Mrs. Sonia Gandhi. In her message which was read by Mr. Gehlot, Mrs. Gandhi prayed for prosperity and progress of the countrymen. She said that Dargah Sharif of Ajmer is spreading the message of brotherhood from centuries.
