National Investigation Agency NIA has filed charge sheet against Swami Asimanand and 7 other accused in Ajmer Dargah Blast case. Charge sheet was filed in Special court of NIA at Jaipur on Monday. These accused are charged under various sections of IPC and explosive act. Swami Asimanand and Bharat Bhai are in Judicial custody since last 3 months while 5 are absconding. One accused Sunil Joshi died this year.3 persons died in Ajmer Blasts in 2007. In Samjhauta blast case, a special court in Haryana fixed August 17th as the next date for hearing on the charge sheet filed in the matter by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). During the in-camera proceedings, the NIA submitted the deficient documents related to the case and also told the court that it would file a supplementary charge sheet against some other accused soon. The NIA had on June 20 charged Swami Aseemanand and four others with triggering explosions in the cross-border Samjhauta Express in 2007 that left 68 people dead and 12 injured.
