Ajit Singh: AI management to decide how long to keep striking pilots

Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh has said that it is up to the Air India management to decide for how long to keep striking pilots on their pay-roll when they are not working.

Talking to reporters in New Delhi today, Mr Singh said, it is for the management to take action now, since the pilots have not reported for work for more than 30 days.

AIR Correspondent reports, about 400 Air India pilots owing allegiance to Indian Pilots Guild (IPG) have been on strike since the 7th of May and the services of 101 pilots have already been terminated.
