Eminent Indian-American doctor Ajeet R Singhvi has been elected as the new president of American Association of Physicians of India Origin. <br/> <br/>Mr Singhvi and other office bearers of AAPI, one of the largest and influential body of doctors in the US were elected at its annual board meeting held in Washington over the weekend. <br/> <br/>Other office bearers are Sunita Kanumury, president-elect; Narendra Kumar, vice-president; Jayesh Shah, secretary; and Ravi Jahagirdar, treasurer. <br/> <br/>While Priya Kundra was elected president of the Young Physicians Section, Mamta Singhvi was elected president for Medical Students, Residents and Fellows Section.<br/>
