Senior IAS Officer Ajay Tyagi will be the new Charmian of Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). Mr. Tyagi is currently Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Finance. <br/><br/>He will hold the office for a maximum period five years or till he attains the age of 65 years. His name was approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet. He will succeed U K Sinha, whose extended tenure ends 1st of next month.
