AITA new players agreement coming soon

The All India Tennis Association (AITA) has clarified that a new player's agreement is being formulated, in which the player's and federation's obligations will be clearly laid out. The CEO of AITA Hironmony Chatterjee while issuing this statement said that the misunderstanding among players has been sorted out. Earlier, AITA Bharat Ojha's statement that all players must sign a new disciplinary code to be considered for Davis Cup selection had infuriated the players. Even a group of eight players led by Somdev Dev Verman had issued a joint statement saying that they were not available for the Davis Cup Selection. India is scheduled to play its Group I Davis Cup tie against South Korea in New Delhi next month.
