All India Radio's first 1,000 Kilo Watt Digital Radio Mondiale-DRM Super Power Transmitter- will be dedicated to the nation at Liyare village near Rajkot in Gujarat today.

Jamnagar Lok Sabha MP Vikram Maadam will formally inaugurate this Super Power Transmitter in the presence of Prasar Bharati CEO Jawhar Sircar. This transmitter is capable of broadcasting in DRM, AM and simulcast modes.
