The Government today said, Airport Authority of India has awarded 1098 routes under Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik, UDAN till 7th of this month. In a written reply in the Lok Sabha, Minister of State for Civil Aviation Gen. V K Singh said out of this 453 UDAN routes have commenced under the scheme. He said this is connecting 70 airports including 9 Heliports and two Water Aerodromes.
